Salary $100,000 - $130,000 per year depending on experienceThe Assistant Controller position will be instrumental within the Finance Department as both an internal manager of function and people and an external support function for other departments and stores.Duties and ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Controller, this position is responsible for assisting with the full range of general ledger functions performed within the department, including adherence to proper internal controls, assisting in a timely financial close process the full range of accounting and finance support functions for fellow team members. This role will lead the monthly financial close process and exercise judgment on the posting of accounting data by the Finance Associate staff members. The Assistant Controller will also be responsible for coordinating closely with the external financial auditors, accounting software support partners and key vendors to ensure continuity of operations.Key Criteria/Requirements--- Bachelor's degree with concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred--- Minimum of six years of relevant experience--- Netsuite experience preferred--- Strong project management and time management skills--- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with the financial leadership team
