Job Description Job Description We are looking for an
experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis
in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. This position offers an opportunity to
support essential accounting operations in a dynamic healthcare
environment during a time of organizational transition. The role
requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can ensure
smooth financial processes while collaborating with leadership and
other departments. Responsibilities: • Oversee and execute monthly
financial close activities, including preparing schedules and
meeting deadlines. • Create and post journal entries with
appropriate supporting documentation. • Conduct bank
reconciliations and analyze discrepancies to resolve variances
efficiently. • Manage intercompany accounting tasks across multiple
entities within the organization. • Provide assistance with
accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed. •
Collaborate with payroll accounting processes, ensuring accurate
implementation and reporting. • Partner closely with the Director
of Accounting Operations to maintain continuity and structure
during leadership transitions. • Identify and address areas for
improvement within financial processes, ensuring compliance and
accuracy. • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to
support accounting operations and provide timely updates.•
Proficient in NetSuite with hands-on experience. • Minimum of 5
years of progressive accounting experience, ideally at the Senior
Accountant level. • Extensive knowledge of month-end close
procedures, reconciliations, and journal entries. • Demonstrated
ability to manage multiple tasks independently and adhere to strict
deadlines. • Strong analytical skills to resolve discrepancies and
ensure accurate financial reporting. • Expertise in using Microsoft
Excel for accounting and reporting purposes. • Preferred experience
in healthcare or residential care settings. • Familiarity with
multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions.
