Job Description Job Description Summary/Objective Performs a variety of clerical duties according to established policies and procedures along with assisting the Benefits Eligibility Manager and Assistant Manager in various duties. Position Responsibilities: Assist the Benefits Eligibility Team with filing and scanning duties. Operate office machines, such as personal computers, scanners, copy machines, fax machines, and voice mail systems. Prep and maintain all new eligible member packets. Process/balance with accuracy all self-payments including Active, Retired, Surviving Spouses and COBRA payments. Receive and answer telephone calls in a professional manner. Maintain all reporting documentation and daily logs. Distribute all incoming correspondence including mail, faxes, and assign Salesforce cases. Handle time-sensitive material and confidential mail/packages. Provide back-up relief to the switchboard, as needed. Other duties as assigned. Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent 2-3 years of prior clerical experience Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge: Proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM tools is a plus Maintain confidentiality Excellent oral and written communication skills Must be detailed oriented Must be able to work independently and as a part of a team Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Strong critical thinking skills Demonstrate a friendly and cooperative attitude and maintain a high level of customer service
