Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a
school setting located in Des Plaines, IL. This role focuses on
providing speech and language therapy services to students,
supporting their communication development within the educational
environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough speech and
language assessments to identify students' needs. Develop and
implement individualized treatment plans and goals. Deliver direct
therapy sessions and monitor student progress. Collaborate with
teachers, parents, and other professionals to create supportive
learning strategies. Maintain accurate documentation and compliance
with school policies. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid
SLP certification or licensure. Experience working in K-12
educational settings preferred. Strong knowledge of speech and
language disorders, assessments, and interventions. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with
students and staff. Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and
maintain detailed records. Location:This position is based in Des
