Description:
Looking for an engineering with 5+years of mechanical design of plastic injections molded parts. Could be retrofitting old plastics design or prototyping new pieces and taking new concepts from cradle to grave.Candidates will prepares 3D models and detailed engineer drawings in Inventor, (Or similar 3D Software) Will be designing fixtures, components, tooling, and assemblies. Candidates will manage up to 3-4 job at time. They use contract manufacturing and they need to communicate with them to ensure quality, production etc.

MUST HAVES

• 
  Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Design
  
  
• 
  3-10 years of Design experience in Solid works
  
  
• 
  Must come from Plastics experience. Need to understand the manufacturing process of injection molding, blow molding and rotational molding. (90% of their work is plastics
  
  
  NICE TO HAVES:
  Machining Knowledge is nice. They have toolmakers, machinists, and grinders make the parts after production
  Experience Level:
  Intermediate Level
