Job Description:
Summary Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, the
Associate Manufacturing Engineer supports manufacturing and product
development activities through manufacturing process execution,
analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role assists
with evaluating products, labor, workflow, and manufacturing
methods to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and
cost-effectiveness. The Associate Manufacturing Engineer
contributes to process improvement and operational excellence
efforts across manufacturing operations. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities This list of duties and responsibilities is not

responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to
time. Support product and part development by assisting with
manufacturing methods, processes, and production capabilities.
Identify opportunities for manufacturing process improvements
related to existing and new processes, machinery, and tooling.
Assist in the development and maintenance of manufacturing process
standards, documentation, and training materials in accordance with
Wagner and ISO requirements, under the guidance of senior engineers
or management. Support the development of manufacturing methods and
routing operations that optimize efficiency, cost, quality, and
safety. Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on
reducing production time and cost while improving efficiency,
quality, and safety. Research emerging manufacturing technologies
and assist in evaluating process, equipment, and tooling
improvement opportunities. Assist in the development and
facilitation of machine- and process-specific operator training.
Support quality objectives by assisting in the resolution of
production issues, delays, and process inefficiencies. Ensure
manufacturing procedures follow established safety and
environmental guidelines. Communicate effectively with employees at
all levels of the organization in a collaborative team environment.
Apply lean manufacturing principles, including root cause analysis,
workflow optimization, and 5S practices. Perform other related
duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications To perform this job

Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant
experience may be considered. Experience with metal fabrication
methods, component manufacturing processes, and production
equipment preferred. Familiarity with CNC turning and milling
processes; experience with Haas and Milltronics controls preferred.
Experience with metal stamping and pipe bending processes
preferred. Working knowledge of CO2 and fiber laser technologies
and programming preferred. TIG and MIG welding experience and
familiarity with applicable industry standards preferred. Exposure
to or experience with lean manufacturing practices preferred. Job
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to read, interpret, and
analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
Working knowledge of relevant software applications, including CAD
systems and Microsoft Office. Ability to collect, summarize, and
present data effectively. Strong organizational skills and
attention to detail. Ability to support SOP and Work Instruction
development and updates. Ability to work in a fast-paced
manufacturing environment with multiple priorities. Ability to work
effectively both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity
with CNC programming using FG CADCAM, BySoft, SurfCAM, or similar
CAD/CAM software preferred. Physical Demands The physical
requirements outlined below are essential for successful job
performance. While fulfilling job duties, employees frequently need
to be on-site to manage projects. Additionally, employees must
regularly engage in activities such as sitting, standing, walking,
speaking, and listening. Occasionally, employees may need to bend,
stoop, balance, and move within the facility. Specific vision
abilities necessary for this role include close vision, distant
vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Furthermore, employees may occasionally lift and/or move objects
weighing up to forty pounds.
