Purchasing Operations Manager (Plant), is the Purchasing
representative within the plant who fully supports CNH customer
delivery objectives, procurement and commodity strategies including
re-sourcing decisions. Is the first line of escalation within
Purchasing and accountable for ensuring detection of plant supply
risks, implementation of mitigation plans and support the
continuous supply of parts. Will assess if additional steps are
required to resolve structural supplier problems or if the
de-escalation threshold has been achieved. You will develop and
improve supplier relationships as well as own and facilitate timely
execution of re-sourcing plans. Must follow the CNH steps to
accountability; See It, Own It, Solve It, and Do It in addition to
adopting the CNH Cultural beliefs, starting with putting the
customer first. Ideal candidate will be located in or near Racine,
Wisconsin.Work with Manufacturing leadership, Commodity Purchasing
and SQE to meet the Manufacturing OKTS (OK to Ship) Plans.Monitor
defined critical control data points to ensure on time delivery and
proactive mitigation of supply risk.Actively participate and own
specific supplier issues, including defining root cause and driving
corrective action processes.Request and drive supplier backlog
recovery plans.Be the single point of contact between CNH and
suppliers. Employ data inputs to communicate CNH requirements to
suppliers, secure shipment promises and disseminate the information
to the internal collaborators.Support supplier relationship
management through direct interaction with suppliers (on & off
site) and training materials.Demonstrate strong leadership and
communication skills across multiple teamsAbility to communicate
clearly, concisely - both oral and written - at all levels within
CNHi and suppliers' organization, in a multinational
environmentProvide support to facilitate supplier capacity and
other situational surveysCollaborate with the Plant Materials Team,
as our internal customer, regarding supply risk status, balance
resources and focus on the most critical supply risks.Support
Supplier Capacity Management with PO Monitoring & Supply Validation
surveys including demand & market trends analysis, logistics
agreements, etc.Lead re-sourcing projects while meeting or
exceeding target dates to achieve cost savings.Annual Base Salary
for this position: $83,000 - $120,000 USD (Actual salaries will
vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill,
experience and qualification for the role.) A Bachelor's degree in
Business or related field and a minimum 6 years related work
experience in the areas of Supply Chain, Production Scheduling,
Purchasing, Manufacturing, and or Project Management. In leiu of
Bachelor's degree will consider Associates degree with 8+ years
related work experience or High School Diploma with 10+ years work
experience as defined above.Intermediate to advanced proficiency
creating Excel spreadsheets, Power Point and use of basic Office
softwareAbility to travel up to 15% of the time, primarily
