Manager
FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER
As FOH Manager, your goal is to manage and coach team members to
ensure that guests have a great experience. Your presence on the
floor and table touching will be key to ensure guests are happy and
team members are providing excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily FOH duties for opening and closing shifts,
ensuring that all tasks are completed. FOH staff consists of
Servers, Bartenders, Hosts, Bussers, Bar Backs, and Food
Runners
- Coordinate daily operations between FOH and BOH
- Create weekly/monthly schedules for FOH team members
- Assist team members with questions on POS issues, coupons,
end-of-shift cashout reports, and other issues or concerns that may
arise
- Conduct brief pre-shift meetings to keep team members informed
of menu item changes, specials, items out-of-stock, etc
- Responsible for overseeing and balancing guest seating
- Keep line of communication open with BOH to inform them of
daily reservations, guest counts, when large groups are seated,
number of guests on waitlist, etc
- Ensure guests are satisfied with their meals, drinks, and
service
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
- Provide FOH training
- Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline of
team members
- Enforce compliance with all employment policies and oversee
cleanliness of restaurant and safety of guests
Skills
- Proven management experience in service industry. Front of
House experience extremely helpful
- Trustworthy, dependable, ability to multi-task, coach and lead
team members
- Familiarity with restaurant management point of sale
system
- ServSafe Certified (or able to pass)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000 - $40,000 per year with bonus plan
