TWO MEN AND A TRUCK is looking for an energetic Operations Manager to provide leadership to moving crews and assist in the daily operational aspects of the business. In this role you will work with customers, vendors, and all staff members to meet established business goals and standards. This is accomplished primarily through: training and motivating franchise employees; controlling costs; managing daily franchise operations; and consistently exceeding customer expectations.What We OfferPay range: $45,000-$55,000 annually with monthly bonus (based on experience)Medical, dental, vision and life insuranceShort Term / Long Term Disability401(k) with employer matchPaid Time OffFlexible work scheduleWhat You'll DoCreate and promote a positive work environment through relationship building making Two Men and a Truck an employer of choiceTrain new employees in an orientation setting and aid in the onboarding processLead all mover/driver training, responsible for team development and motivationAssist with employee scheduling and administer the dispatch of movers and driversResponsible for employee accountability and adherence to franchise standards and policiesProfessionally handle customer concerns and oversee the damage resolution processCoordinate and direct fleet maintenance and equipment inventoryEnsure compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelinesImplement and maintain proper DOT program using electronic logging devicesConduct weekly safety spot checks to ensure all jobs are completed to TWO MEN AND A TRUCK standardsContinually maintain thorough understanding of all company products, services, and promotionsDevelop strategic sales growth plans with the General Manager to ensure revenue and profit objectives are metAssists in day-to-day organizational and clerical support tasksOther duties as assigned by General ManagerWho We're Looking ForHighly motivated individual who is driven to help others succeedA team member who will lead by example in performance, attitude, attendance and work ethicHigh school diploma or GED required; some college preferredDriver's license with good driving recordWilling and able to obtain an annual DOT PhysicalHighly organized and detail oriented; ability to multi-taskStrong decision making and problem-solving skillsEffective communication skillsCommitment to customer service and the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK core valuesProficient with the following Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, and OutlookWilling to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screenAbility to work Monday-Friday with Saturday rotationsWork is generally performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards, however, occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds may be necessary.
