This position will assist in managing a staff of 35+ employees. A primary focus of the position is to oversee all front desk, sales, customer service and marketing functions. This position will report directly to the General Manager.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist in overseeing all business operations with a hyper focus on front desk operationsHire, train, manage staff and encourage high productivity, excellent performance and positive employee satisfactionOversee all front desk operations around customer service, sales, retail and vendingProvide excellent customer serviceManage membership sales and retentionOversee all marketing functions, including events, social media and community engagementImplement and maintain daily and weekly reportsActs as a GSS "ambassador" to provide a Golden Experience to our students, families, and team membersMaintain required certifications (Lifeguard, CPR/First Aid)Candidate Profile:Prior management experience (minimum 2 years)Willing and able to gets hands on, must be a "doer"High level of energySuperior communicationDetail-oriented, organized and ability to multi-taskMust pass background examinations prior to trainingBenefits:Paid Time OffPaid National HolidaysDiverse and inclusive workplaceMonthly health insurance and cell phone allowanceCulture driven companyManagement incentives and bonus opportunitiesConsistent schedule with flexible amount of hours (minimum 30 hours per week)Free swim lessons to your immediate familyEducation: High school diploma or GED required.
