You will also enable end user adoption and sustainment of future state changes during the implementation of new or improved business processes or systems. In this position you will play a key role on larger/complex projects (change initiatives) to meet business, schedule and budget objectives using the organizational change management framework and toolkit, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles, and user experience. Your primary focus will be collaborating with delivery teams to create and implement change management plans that minimize employee resistance and maximize employee engagement. You will work to drive faster adoption, greater ultimate utilization and higher proficiency on the changes impacting employees in the organization such that business results are achieved.This position reports directly to the Director of Technology Governance with a functional role working with appropriate delivery leaders and users affected by a change. In this role you will apart of the Business Process and Technology (BPT) organization which is comprised of several groups contributing to the overall IT success of SC Johnson globally.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct effective change management consulting and delivery including designing and shaping change management plans within BPT or its clients
  • Lead change management activities to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes for any project or initiative
  • Manage the development of a change management strategy based on a situational awareness of the details of the change and the groups being impacted
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to the change management methodology framework and tool kit
  • Manage and conduct stakeholder and impact analyses, and readiness assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a clear and logical manner
  • Develop and deploy a set of actionable and targeted change management plans for assigned projects - including change management approach, communication plan, training plan, and a sustainable support model as well as success metrics for change initiatives
  • Collaborate and provide guidance for the execution of plans by employee-facing managers and business leaders
  • Manage and provide support for BPT internal communications that support project implementations
  • Define, maintain and update the BPT Communication Strategy and communicate periodically
  • Proactively work with Global Portfolio Management Office to integrate and govern change management activities into the overall project plan
  • Partner with Global Communications, Learning & Development, Human Resources and business specialists in the formulation of plans and activities to support BPT project implementations
  • Responsible for BPT related organizational change management budget inclusive of technologies requirements and contract staffing needs
  • Provide expertise on organizational change management technologies and be the champion providing guidance and support on usage of organizational change management tools within BPT
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress dashboard.Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
    • Bachelor's degree or military experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement
    • 7+ years of experience with a change methodology (Prosci, Leading Change, ACMP, CCPM, Adkar, Kotter, etc.)
    • 7+ years of experience in project delivery approaches and that of with project lifecycle and required planningPreferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:
      • Understanding of technology enablement for communication with a business acumen lens
      • Have strong, effective consultative and facilitation skills
      • Be an excellent influencer and gain others' support
      • Excellence in creating and communicating ideas and information in writing and visual narratives
      • Ability to collaborate with BPT colleagues and external business leaders
      • Individual contributor that applies subject matter knowledge, skills & experience; requires capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/ knowledgeJob Requirements:
        • Full time with occasional operational support outside core business hours
        • Ability to travel when conditions return to normal -10%
