Job Description:

The Catering Director responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Promote GRO Catering in the entire Northwest Arkansas region, as well as Eastern Oklahoma and Southern Missouri.
Develop marketing plans to achieve sales goals.
Negotiate contracts for events based on company guidelines.
Product purchasing for all events.
Cost control of food and labor.
Equipment rental or purchasing as well as maintaining.
Recruiting, hiring, and training of staff.
Plan logistics for events ranging from 25 guests to 2000 guests.
Maintain the vast current list of clients.
Acquire new clients.
Be active in the communities, such as the local Chambers of Commerce and nonprofit organizations.
Ensure quality control and exceed food safety guidelines.
Be active at events from food ordering through service.
Be willing to be hands-on at any event.
Have basic knowledge of computer programs.
Have event planning experience.
