We Are Hiring: Job Title: - Registered NurseDepartment: - Acute RehabLocation: - Ascension All Saints HospitalAddress: - 3801 Spring Street, Racine, WIHours: - Full Time, Nights, 36 hours per weekWork Schedule: -1900-0730 / Every third weekend / Every other holidayAs an Acute Rehabilitation Nurse at Ascension All Saints, your role will include a holistic approach based on nursing theory that encourages self care and carry-over of therapeutic technique while assisting the patient and family to adapt their lifestyle in anticipation of safe transition back to the community. - Critical thinking and autonomy will be integral as you collaborate with the patient and interdisciplinary team on a plan of care to help patients meet their goals. - You will serve a diverse patient population including those impacted by stroke, brain injury, amputation, spinal cord injury, orthopedic injuries, oncology, as well as a variety of other medical diagnoses. Ascension supports continued development of associates, and nurses of all experience levels and backgrounds are invited to apply to this position. - The Ascension WI, All Saints Inpatient Rehabilitation unit is a 14-bed acute care rehab setting serving the Southeast community since 1986. - We are accredited through CARF International, which means we have demonstrated conformance to proven best standards for business practices and are committed to continuous quality improvement.If you are interested in being part of a dedicated and dynamic interdisciplinary team focused on meeting the acute rehabilitation needs of the patient to help them return home this is the role for you! What You Will Do: Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. -
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. What You Will Need: Education:
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 2 Months (60 -days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job -transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if -considered multi-state/Compact State.Education:
    • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. Additional Preferences:
      • Previous Acute Rehabilitation experience is not required.
