Description:Work Schedule :We have a variety FTE and shifts available-part-time & full-time positions, with 8/12-hour shifts, weekend and holiday rotation. Hours are based off the operational needs of department. We offer competitive starting pay with relevant work experience taken into consideration. This position also includes a float/shift/weekend differentials. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI and may require coverage at UW Health East Clinic. To learn more please apply!Be part of something remarkableJoin our remarkable Medical/Surgical Float team.We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:Be part of a wide variety of high-level nursing skills such as evaluating med/surg patients, administering care, recognizing complications and coordinating with other members of the team.Take part in the interpersonal communication, leadership, strategic planning, critical thinking, as well as decision-making that is a part of the Med/Surg float team.Be a part of the Remarkable learning opportunities at a Level One Trauma Center, Magnet --designated facility and world-renowned academic health system.Education :Preferred - Baccalaureate degree in nursing.Work Experience :Minimum - One (1) year relevant medical surgical experience in an acute care setting.Preferred - Two (2) years relevant experience. Telemetry experience.Licenses and Certifications :Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin.
