Job Description:
W ork Schedule :24-40 hours/week based on candidate's
preference. Hours will fall Monday through Friday between 8am and
5pm. This position may work fully remote, though some in person
work is preferred.Pay :External hires may be eligible for up to a
$10,000 sign on bonus.Relocation assistance may be available for
qualified applicantsBe part of something remarkableHelp promote
well-being and healing to pediatric patients at UW Health.We are
seeking a Pediatric Health Psychologist to:Provide clinical
services to child and adolescent patients in an outpatient
Behavioral Health clinic. You will focus on addressing the
psychological impact of new medical diagnosis, improving quality of
life, increasing adherence to prescribed medical treatments, and
lessening the impact of an illness on a patient and family's
well-being.Conduct psychological assessments and deliver
evidence-based interventions for patients being referred by various
Pediatric Medical Specialties.Within pediatrics, areas of focus can
include: transplant, pain, gastroenterology, neurology (including
headache), hematology/oncology, diabetes, plastic surgery, urology,
rheumatology, nephology, complex care and speech
audiologyPotentially participate in supervision of Health
Psychology trainees.Contribute to program developmentEducation
:Minimum - Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Psychology (Psy.D.) in
Clinical Psychology or related field.Work Experience :Minimum - One
(1) year of post-doc experience in the area of Behavioral Health in
a medical setting.Preferred - One (1) year of clinical experience
or two (2) years of post-doctoral experience in the area of Health
Psychology in a medical setting.Licenses and Certifications
:Minimum -Licensure or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in
