We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and personable Occupational Therapist with great communication skills, team player, professional and reliable.WE OFFER:--- Get paid the next business day- Access $ when needed--- Immediate start after credential verification/background check--- Secure site to upload credentials for verification--- 24/7 Support Service--- Equal Opportunity employerCONTRACT: --- Dates of contract: 9/19/2022 to 12/18/2022 (14 weeks) --- Shift: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Mon-Fri --- Pay Rate: $52/hr. --- Guarantee 40 hoursQUALIFICATIONS:1+ years of experience or equivalentActive LicenseNBCOT verificationDementia TrainingReferencesIn-Service AcknowledgementCovid vaccination & Covid TestInfluenza vaccination or declinationPhysicalTB Screen/Chest X-Ray/QuantiFERONAbility to pass a Background checkResumePhysical stamina to lift patients and spend long hours standing and modeling exercises.Interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and motivate them.RESPONSIBILITIES:Ability to review and evaluate patient's medical history, conditions and needsAssessing the patient's physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan.Personal attention and progressive restorative therapy to achieve highest level of recovery and function in daily tasks.Giving advice and providing support for family members and CaregiverTeach therapeutic exercises, techniques and stretches to improve condition.Installing the necessary equipment in the classroom for children with disabilities and teaching them how to use the equipmentHelping adult patients to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstancesAssisting patients' exercise for pain reliefMaintain patient records by keeping track of goals and progress while reviewing the patient's progress and adapting treatment plans accordingly.Recommend adaptive equipment's and instruct patients on their uses.Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone callsAssist other facility staff members as needed to provide care and create a clean, orderly and effective environment for rehabilitation and physical therapy.
