Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled CT/Xray Tech to
join our faith-based healthcare organization. We are committed to
transforming healthcare through innovation and compassionate,
personalized care. In this role, you will be crucial in supporting
our mission to empower communities by ensuring high standards in
diagnostic imaging, aiding in accurate treatment and care. Perform
complex computed tomography (CT) and X-ray imaging. Ensure patient
safety and adherence to radiation safety measures. Operate CT and
X-ray equipment according to the prescribed specifications.
Coordinate with healthcare professionals to assess and interpret
scans. Maintain accurate patient records and manage imaging data.
Educate patients on the process and answering their queries.
Conduct routine maintenance checks and manage the upkeep of imaging
equipment. Proficiency in operating CT and X-ray imaging equipment.
Strong understanding of radiographic positioning and radiology
protocol. Excellent communication skills and patient interaction
abilities. Ability to work both independently and within a
multidisciplinary team. Good problem-solving skills and attention
to detail. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Valid and active certification by the American
Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Licensed to practice
in the state of employment. CPR certification is preferred.
