This role involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary surgical team to ensure efficient and safe patient care throughout operative procedures. The position offers 12-hour day and evening shifts, Monday through Friday, with weekend call responsibilities, making it ideal for professionals who thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced perioperative environment. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and facilitate smooth surgical case progression and room turnover. Implement patient-centered, safe, and competent care following established policies and standards. Collaborate with surgeons and perioperative staff across various specialties including ENT, ophthalmology, and plastic surgery. Utilize advanced surgical equipment and technology to support complex procedures. Desired Qualifications: Active WI nursing license or compact licensure valid in home state. Minimum two years acute care experience within the last three years. BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association. Experience with procedures such as vitrectomy, free flap breast reconstruction, cochlear implants, and tracheostomy preferred. Comfort operating with advanced surgical microscopes and navigation systems. Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 09:40 AM to 10:10 PM, three days per week, Monday through Friday. Weekend call responsibilities. This contract position requires candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility. Staff may be scheduled to float across multiple units or locations based on staffing needs.
