About the Opportunity We are actively seeking highly motivated and skilled Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team in full-time or part-time positions. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients experiencing a wide range of medical emergencies. Working alongside a dedicated team of nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals, you'll ensure timely and effective interventions for every patient who enters the emergency department. What You'll Do Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments. Make critical diagnoses and treatment decisions in fast-paced situations. Perform essential emergency procedures, including but not limited to suturing, laceration repair, and airway management. Order and interpret diagnostic tests to guide treatment plans. Prescribe medications and manage patient care plans effectively. Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team in high-stress situations. Document medical records accurately and thoroughly to ensure clear communication for all healthcare providers involved. Who You Are Board certified in Emergency Medicine (BC/EM) or board-eligible for Emergency Medicine certification. Alternatively, board certified in Family Practice (BC/FP) with extensive emergency department experience, or board certified in Internal Medicine (BC/IM) with extensive emergency department experience, will be considered. Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Active Wisconsin medical license is mandatory. Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license is required.
