Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to
join our rehabilitation services team. This role focuses on
providing direct care aimed at improving patient outcomes following
serious illnesses or injuries. Our integrated healthcare services
adhere to a model of comprehensive, individualized care, which
empowers our patients towards achieving independence and optimum
wellness. The successful candidate will design, execute, and refine
rehabilitation strategies that are tailored to the individual needs
of each patient, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary
team to implement recovery plans that utilize innovative,
evidence-based therapies. Assess patient condition by examining
muscle strength, motor function, sensory perception, coordination,
and balance. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to
restore, maintain, or improve physical functioning and reduce pain.
Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
Educate patients and families about post-therapy care and routines.
Work collaboratively with a healthcare team to provide integrated,
effective care. Adhere to professional and ethical guidelines as
per regulatory and certifying bodies. Perform and develop treatment
plans based on evidence-based practices. Deep knowledge of
physiotherapy principles, theories, and practices. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills for effectively interacting
with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to operate
and utilize therapeutic equipment and technology. Capability to
assess patient response to therapy and make swift modifications.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid
state Physical Therapist license. Certification from the American
Board of Physical Therapy Specialties is a plus.
