Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mammography Tech to join our faith-based healthcare organization. In this role, you will be pivotal in providing high-quality mammographic imaging services that help in the early detection and diagnosis of breast diseases as part of our commitment to compassionate, personalized care. Our Mammography Techs are essential in our mission to innovate healthcare and empower communities with improved health outcomes. You will operate specialized mammography equipment, adhere to safety standards, and contribute to Ascension's push towards superior health services. Operate and maintain mammography diagnostic equipment Perform imaging procedures as per physician orders Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality protocols Collaborate with radiologists to evaluate images and determine necessary diagnostic techniques Participate in QA and QC procedures to ensure quality metrics are met Educate patients on mammography processes and follow-up care Proficiency with mammography imaging equipment Strong understanding of radiology protocols Excellent patient communication and care skills Ability to maintain detailed patient records Adept in technology used for diagnostics and record keeping Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) State licensure as a Mammography Technologist, or eligible to obtain Additional certification in Mammography (M) preferred
