Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Registered Nurse
Float to join our faith-based healthcare organization. In this
dynamic role, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality
care across various departments and specialties within our hospital

health. As a float nurse, you will have the unique opportunity to

interaction and procedure. Provide high-quality nursing care to
patients in various departments based on daily assignments. Adjust
quickly to differing clinical settings and patient needs, ensuring
consistent care. Administer medications, monitor patient
conditions, and communicate with the medical team effectively.
Educate patients and their families on health conditions and
wellness maintenance. Maintain patient records with high levels of
accuracy and privacy compliance. Participate in cross-training
activities and provide guidance to new nursing staff. Support the
healthcare facility’s vision and mission in daily work and patient
interaction. Strong clinical skills and adaptability to various
medical settings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain high levels of compassion and integrity in all
patient interactions. In-depth knowledge of health safety standards
and protocols. Efficient in time management and the ability to
prioritize tasks. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in
the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is
preferred.
