Job Description UW Health is seeking a Ophthalmic Assistant for a job in Madison, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Ophthalmic Assistant - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: Ongoing - Employment Type: Staff Work Schedule: Part-time, 90% FTE day shift. Monday – Friday, working 8-hour shifts, no weekends required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Pay: External hires may be eligible for up to a $3,150 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE). We are currently seeking an Ophthalmic Assistant (Optometric Tech, COA, CPOT) to: - Perform visual testing in both preventative and specialty eye care. - Provide a safe and comforting atmosphere for eye care patients of all ages. - Work in a fast-paced team environment.
