Description:W ork Schedule :90% FTE, day/evening shift rotation,
weekend rotation. 8/12-hour shifts between the hours of 7:00 AM -
7:30 PM. Hours are based off the operational needs of the
department. We offer a competitive starting pay, relevant work
experience will be considered, this position also includes a
shift/weekend differential. You will work at University Hospital in

Team Leader (CTL) that will :Have the opportunity to provide daily
operational leadership as a charge RN on a 39-bed hematology,
oncology, bone marrow transplant, and palliative care unit.The
ability to participate in quality improvement initiatives and lead
practice changes to further enhance care for our inspirational
patients.Education :Minimum - Baccalaureate degree in nursing or
ADN and achievement of BS in nursing within 5 years of
hire.Preferred - Baccalaureate degree in nursing.Work Experience
:Minimum - Two (2) years' experience in an acute care inpatient
unit.Preferred - Three (3) years' experience in an acute care
inpatient unit.Licenses and Certifications :Minimum - Registration
as a professional nurse in the State of WisconsinCPR
CertificationPreferred - National certification in relevant
specialtyRequired Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities :Demonstrates
ability to:Effectively teach patients, families, and nursing
staff.Facilitate quality improvement and standard of care.Provide
constructive feedback and resolve conflicts.Prioritize workload
when given multiple demands.Maintain professional communication and
interactions in all situations.Develop members of the team for
improved functioning and effectiveness.Deliver culturally congruent
care.Apply the concepts of patient and family centered
care.Competency SummaryDemonstrates an understanding of regulatory
requirements and professional practice guidelines.Possess a working
knowledge of organizational policies and procedures.Exhibits
competence in the performance of department specific skills in
order to be a resource and mentor for others in the
department.Demonstrates recent involvement in leadership
activities.Physical Requirements :Medium: Ability to lift up to 50
pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects
