The Plant HR Training & People Development Specialist will act as a
business partner to management and provide support to all levels of
the facility. The position requires a strong foundation of training
& development, a desire to build solid working relationships, and a
passion to learn the business in order to contribute to the HR
elements of business strategies. This position will participate and
support our Lean philosophy through training, and involvement in
continuous improvement activities. This role requires a significant
amount of time looking for areas of improvement, assisting in the
identification and implementation of solutions for problems that
occur, and time spent working with others on the factory floor to
understand processes.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities: Responsible
for monitoring work activities and taking action, to eliminate
errors caused by a lack of knowledge or training. This will include
working with employees, team leaders, and Supervisors on the
manufacturing floor to implement improvements. Lead teams to put in
place actions to eliminate errors in the areas of Safety, Quality
and Machine breakdowns. Work with all levels of employees in the
development and delivery of training programs to ensure successful
knowledge transfer and efficient plant operations. Responsible for
the training and development of defined employee groups. This
includes the establishment of requirements, measuring and
implementing actions to close gaps. Collaborate with managers to
develop, monitor, and close gaps in Succession planning goals.
Monitor and implement actions to reduce absenteeism. Responsible
for the preparation and distribution of course information to
facilitate both in person and web/virtual learning. Assess
effectiveness of learning experiences and implement necessary
adjustments or improvements. Responsible for the planning and
execution of employee relations events throughout the year.
Management of courses and content in the the Learning Management
System (LMS).The annual salary range for this position is
$71,000-$102,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on
various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for

have: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial
Relations, or Business Administration, and a minimum of 5 years of
applicable HR/ training experience within a manufacturing
environment.The ideal candidate will have: Experience developing
and implementing internal training classes/programs. Prior
