Job Description:
At Republic Services, Inc., a national leader in non-hazardous
solid waste and recycling, we're currently seeking a dedicated
Delivery Driver / Courier to join our team. In this role, you will
be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of waste and
recycling materials using our fleet of iconic blue trucks. Your
focus will be on timely service, ensuring proper handling and
transport according to company standards and compliance with
environmental regulations. This role is crucial in maintaining our
commitment to sustainability and exceptional customer service.
Safely operate a waste collection truck to transport waste and
recycling materials, adhering to all operational, safety, and
environmental policies. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip
vehicle inspections to ensure functionality and cleanliness.
Navigate through assigned routes to collect materials, ensuring
maximum efficiency and timely services. Communicate courteously
with customers, addressing and resolving any on-route issues or
concerns. Maintain accurate records of materials collected and
mileage logged. Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper disposal
of collected materials at designated facilities. Participate in
training sessions and meetings to stay updated on the latest
industry regulations and company policies. Ability to operate large
vehicles and waste collection equipment safely. Knowledge of
traffic laws and regulations related to commercial transportation.
Strong time management and route planning abilities. Effective
communication and customer service skills. Medical Insurance Dental

Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record. DOT Medical
Card.
