Job Description:
Join the dynamic team at Instacart as a shopper and delivery
driver and transform the way people get their groceries. As part of
our on-the-ground force, you will shop for items in our partner
retailers and deliver them directly to customers' doorsteps with
speed and care. This role is perfect for individuals seeking
flexible work hours and who love to be on the move. You will ensure
that all deliveries are handled efficiently and that the quality of
groceries meets Instacart's high standards. If you're passionate
about excellent service and enjoy making people's day a little
easier, this is the job for you! Visit various retailers to collect
customers' orders with accuracy. Manage time effectively to deliver
groceries within the expected delivery frame. Maintain
communication with customers if there are issues or delays. Care
for the products during transport to ensure quality. Process
payments or confirmations of delivery through the mobile app.
Follow all traffic and transportation laws. Ability to handle
physical requirements of shopping and delivery, including lifting
up to 50 lbs. Strong time management and organizational skills.
Effective communication and customer service skills. Proficient in
using mobile devices and apps. A valid driver's license and a
reliable vehicle are required. Must have auto insurance meeting
local regulations.
