Job Description:
ProDrivers is seeking a dedicated and skilled Class A Trucker to
join our transportation and logistics team, servicing a diverse
range of industries while ensuring safety and compliance. You will
be instrumental in maintaining the flow of goods, demonstrating a
commitment to excellence and an unparalleled dedication to
operational safety. This role requires adaptability, reliability,
and a thorough understanding of transportation regulations. Operate
Class A trucks across different routes to ensure safe and timely
delivery of freight. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and
safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Plan routes and
meet delivery schedules compliant with traffic and transportation
regulations. Document and log work/rest periods, kilometers spent
driving and retain fuel/toll receipts. Comply with truck driving
rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking
and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
Manage load security, ensuring freight is properly secured and does
not pose any safety hazards. Use navigation tools and apps to find
the most optimal route and ensure the most efficient use of time.
Proficiency in operating Class A commercial vehicles. Strong
navigation and route management skills. Good physical condition and
stamina required for long drives. Excellent organizational and time
management skills. Ability to drive long hours and occasionally
travel overnight. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Substantial understanding of DOT regulations. Completion of a
qualified truck driving school.
