We Are Hiring:

Job Title: Registered Nurse

Department: PACU/Recovery

Location: Ascension All Saints Hospital

City, State: Racine, WI

Hours/Work Schedule/Shift: 10 hour shifts ( varied start times), earliest would be 0530, latest would be 1130 on occasion. Every 4th weekend on call hours, and 3-4 weeknight call shifts per 6 week schedule period. Hours can be negotiable, but must work 40 hours per week.

***Peri-op experience preffered (SDS or PACU) or 2 years of Medsurg/ICU experience.

Provide direct nursing care for anesthetized patients in the immediate post-operative or
post-procedural period.

• Follow aseptic sterile technique according to Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses / American Society of Peri Anesthesia Nurses (AORN/ASPAN) standards.
• Evaluate patient's responses to treatments and interventions.
• Manage patient's pain.
• Anticipate case-specific needs based on knowledge of procedure(s) performed and pathophysiology.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State required.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
