Hiring immediately for Welders on 3rd shift!

Ryde Racine: We are located on the following Ryde the Bus routes: Route 1, Route 4, and Route 86 (at 21st & Roosevelt Ave).

API Heat Transfer is looking for people who enjoy being part of transformation. We have a new mission, new leaders, and are accelerating our path to Lean Cultural Change. Our Production team is expanding and we are seeking additional Welders for third shift at our Racine location.

What You Will Do:

* Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using both MIG and TIG welding
* Inspect product and equipment for defects and malfunctions
* Set up and build machines to print tolerances
* Position and secure work pieces using hoists

What You Bring:

* Proficient in GMAW (gas metal arc welding) and GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding)
* Capable of adjusting machines to different material thickness
* Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
* Able to communicate and work/weld with others
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds routinely

Additional Requirements: Qualified candidates will be asked to complete a weld test to D1.2 AWS (American Welding Society, Structural Welding Code - Aluminum)
