Responsibilities



















As a UI/UX Designer you will develop user interfaces and user experiences (UI/UX) for web, mobile, and dedicated touch screen products. You will also create the appearance and behavior for the interfaces.

  • Create consistent graphical objects and themes that can be applied to existing or future products, across the range of products.
  • Design and implement screen and widget appearance, such as buttons, frames, backdrops, or adornments.
  • Design and implement screen and widget behavior, using paradigms such as swipe-to-span, momentum scrolling, or animated widgets.
  • Create stylized icons that represent the objects or concepts.
  • Create, design, and maintain screen flows to optimize user experience.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent documentation.
  • Participate in department improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrates support for company culture in their daily actions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow established safety and ergonomic standards.
  • May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.
  • Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.Position Pays $76,000 to $109,000. This position is eligible for the company bonus plan (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)



























    Qualifications



















    • Associate's degree in UI/UX or Graphic Design, or related technical field
    • Minimum 3 years related experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Qualifications:
      • Strong traditional art skills are beneficial.
      • Fluent with the use of 2D art tools and authoring tools.
      • Comfortable producing wire frames, mockups, and click-through prototypes for web and mobile.
      • Familiar with mobile first and responsive design.
      • Familiar with user accessibility standards.
      • Understanding of user stories, customer journey maps, and personas.
      • Be a brand ambassador by contributing to brand voice, design systems, and style and usage guides across all assets.
      • Proficiency with a computer, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
      • Familiarity with Qt, Qt Designer, and Qt Quick is helpful.
      • Team player who is self-motivated and has ability to work with minimal supervision.
      • Ability to work at a fast pace efficiently.
      • Ability to maintain accurate records.
