Professional Services Group, Inc.Description:PSG/CIP is a multi-service community-based social services organization that fulfills its mission of helping individuals and families to achieve their greatest potential through dynamic, cost effective and innovative programming responsive to the needs of diverse communities.JOB SUMMARY:The Youth Worker provides educational services to at-risk youth enrolled in the Turning Point Academy (TPA) and to adjudicated youth who are returning to the community from juvenile corrections, the ACE Program, and other out-of-home placements. Services provide a wraparound approach that focus on assisting youth academically and behaviorally through therapeutic intervention services, behavior and academic prevention and intervention programs.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Interview and evaluate client and parents to complete the intake process.
• Exercise judgment to intervene as an advocate for clients in emergency and crisis situations.
• Facilitate and organize structured group sessions and activities for clients and families for all related treatment issues.
• Attend all scheduled staffings and make appropriate recommendations.
• Maintain a minimum of two contacts monthly with client's parent(s)/guardian(s) to discuss client progress.
• Maintain open communication regarding client progress with Racine Human Services Department and Racine Unified School Disctrict
• Safely transport clients as needed.LOCATION & HOURS: Office is based in Racine, WI. Position is part-time, about 20 hours per week. Schedule will vary Monday-Friday between 8:00am-4:00pm with occasional evenings.WHY WORK WITH PSG/CIP?
