Job Description:
A chartered, private, not-for-profit organization needs
applicants for an opening for a Remote IT Security Analyst. Core
Responsibilities of this position include:Being proactive network
monitoring to identify and/or prevent cybersecurity/network
incidentsAssisting with enforcement of enterprise security
policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and
proceduresMaintaining operational configurations of all-in place
security solutions as per established baselinesQualifications for
this position include: Bachelor's Degree in field of computer
science or related field and/or2 to 4 years of equivalent work
experience in IT securitySecurity+ or other relevant
security-related designation(s)Firm grasp of computer networking
concepts and protocols and network security methodologiesExpert in
enterprise security policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and
proceduresUnderstands specific operational impacts of cybersecurity
lapsesAbility to achieve desired results while working
collaboratively in a team environment
