POSITION: Shipping Clerk PAY: $18.00 LOCATION : Sturtevant, WI 53177 SHIFT HOURS: 1st Shift 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. JOB DESCRIPTION:

• The Shipping clerk must have one to three months related experience and/or training.
• The responsibilities of the shipping clerk include the following.
• The shipping clerk will load materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit
• The shipping clerk conveys units or pallets from storage or work areas to designated areas
• The shipping clerk loads and unloads parts onto or from pallets, trays racks and shelves by hand
• The shipping clerk attaches identifying tags or labels to completed units or marks other information on other types of packaging
• The shipping clerk stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands together
• The shipping clerk wraps, skid and anchors units to pallets for shipping or exporting as required
• The shipping clerk will contact supervisor or traffic manager when orders are completed and ready for shipping
• The shipping clerk routes paperwork to appropriate personnel
• The shipping clerk will have other jobs or projects as assigned
