This position is a first shift position (7am-3:30pm) in our very clean and air-conditioned facility.Job DutiesSoldering through hole and surface mount components. Some mechanical assembly and wiring may also be neededProvide skilled technical assistance to engineers and other departments in the development of electronic products. The person must follow schematics, board layouts and assembly diagrams so the model or prototype will closely resemble documentation provided.Calibrating, testing, evaluating, and documenting Badger Meter productsOperation of sophisticated instruments such as multimeters, capacitance meters, digital oscilloscopes, wave generators, and recording instrumentsSupport manufacturing in upgrades and analysis of manufactured products.Testing and troubleshooting of microprocessor based productsTraining other technicians on processes and procedures as needed.QualificationsAssociate's degree from a two-year college or school preferred1+ year related experienceIntermediate Computer SkillsSoldering experience requiredAn Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
