Experis, a ManpowerGroup company has an exciting contract opportunity for a Sr Logistics Analyst This position is a 7+ month contract for one of our key clients, a global leader in Equipment and Service IndustrySr Logistics Analyst - Inbound Logistics Location: Racine, WI (Hybrid) The Senior Logistics Analyst will plan transportation, track/trace shipments, handle the communication and contingency planning for delayed shipments. **Track and Trace experience for international/domestic shipments with some excel skills (Vlookup) preferred. Through its people and brands, Industrial delivers power, technology and innovation to farmers, builders and drivers all around the world.We are actively seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Logistics Analyst to join our team.The Senior Logistics Analyst will plan transportation, track/trace shipments, handle the communication and contingency planning for delayed shipments.Responsibilities Include: Plan shipments and handle contingencies in transportation. Track/trace shipments and implement contingency planning for delayed shipments Develop and implement processes to ensure actual execution matches models. Develop and implement corrective action when expected results fall short of model results. Drive packaging improvements to improve truck utilization and implement processes to ensure part-packaging data (PFEP) is accurate. Develop reports to highlight our sustainability initiatives and its impact on the environment. Develop reports to highlight cost of quality in transportation and include it in total cost modeling.The qualified candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Logistics Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or technical discipline.Experience in supply chain is a plus.Excellent communication skills and MS-Excel competency is necessary.The ideal candidate will have knowledge/experience in the following areas:Knowledge of Business Analytics Software Knowledge of simulation and optimization software MS-Excel and MS-Access proficiency Problem solving skills Ability to learn new processes and systems quickly through self-learning
