Description:Our client is a leading producer of private label food and contract manufacturing, committed to providing high-quality products to their customers. They are currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their 2nd shift team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supervising teams in a food manufacturing environment and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.This job will have the following responsibilities:
Provide direction and instruction to production teams to achieve production goals.
Reinforce, coach, and mentor teams on food and people safety rules.
Participate in training events on rules, regulations, safety, and job expectations.
Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) projects to resolve challenges and improve efficiencies.
Oversee plant operations and sanitation processes.
Ensure compliance with USDA, HACCP, and OSHA regulations.Requirements/ Skills:Qualifications & Requirements:
3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (food preferred)
Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
Knowledge of Lean principles (Kaizen, 5S, KPIs, etc.) is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead, motivate, and support team growth.
Knowledgeable of USDA, HACCP, and OSHA regulations.
