We are a leading staffing firm and our clients include some over the nation's biggest companies. Our client has a need for a Parts Analyst/Engineer - Entry Level. This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Parts Analyst/Engineer - Entry Level Job Responsibilities Your specific duties as a Parts Analyst/Engineer - Entry Level will include: As the Parts Catalog Analyst, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the service part catalogs our dealers use to support our end customers with service parts appropriate for our branded equipment. Develop service parts catalogs to support product launches globally, effectively communicating service parts information for the maintenance and repair of Industrial machinery Researching, evaluating and interpreting+ engineering drawings/blueprints in order to break down assemblies that will be rebuilt into service parts catalogs. Input information into Configuration Studio (CFS) - the system used to author and control the service parts catalogs Provide Second level support to resolve Parts Technical/Customer Support and Dealer incidents from the Next Generation Parts Catalog (NGPC) Proactively communicate with Team Lead regarding product launch team objectives, assuring assignments are aligned with product launch plans so part records & catalog requirements are fulfilled. Parts Analyst/Engineer - Entry Level Job Requirements As a Parts Analyst/Engineer - Entry Level you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Associates Degree in Engineering, Ag systems or Technical Certification (Automotive, diesel, etc.) Minimum 2 years Automotive, AG, or CE equipment/dealership Service experience with equipment or related parts and service support Basic mechanical aptitude/service experience related to how to use a service parts catalog to identify repair parts, order repair parts and facilitate basic repairs in personal or professional experience. Intermediate level of MS Office (Word/Excel) experience The preferred candidate will have with the following: 2+ years' experience/familiarity with mechanical, electrical and/or hydraulics drawings and schematics of industrial machinery and/or knowledge and use of bills of material in a service or manufacturing industry Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or Computer Science) Basic ability to query, extract and manipulate cross sections of data from enterprise level data systems, using Cognos, Qlikview or other data extraction software Parts Analyst/Engineer - Entry Level Benefits As a Parts Analyst/Engineer - Entry Level with Bartech, you will be working through an established and respected staffing organization with 40 years of serving as a trusted partner to our client companies.
