Care Aide with CASL, you'll receive: $19.50/hour pay Flexible
scheduling to fit your availability $200 internal referral bonus
when you refer another caregiver CASL provides training and
support! Your Mission: The Home Care Aide is a vital contributor to
the well-being and independence of our senior adults in our
community. This role involves providing essential household and
personal care support under the supervision of the participant,
their family members, or authorized representatives, ensuring each
individual receives tailored, high-quality assistance. By carrying
out tasks outlined in the participant's Plan of Care, the HCA helps
clients maintain their comfort, dignity, and quality of life in
their own homes. This position plays a critical role in fostering a
supportive and safe environment for clients, empowering them to
live more independently. Through dedicated care and ongoing
professional development, the HCA directly impacts the lives of

position offers an hourly rate of $19.50. $200 Internal Referral

talent. This position complies with Cook County's Paid Sick Leave
Ordinance, offering accrued sick leave to eligible employees.
Additional benefits may be available depending on hours worked and
length of employment. Your Impact: As an HCA, you will: Key
Responsibilities: Direct Participant Care: Execute tasks listed in
the Plan of Care for each assigned participant, ensuring adherence
to personalized care plans. Household Assistance: Perform routine
household tasks, including, but not limited to, making beds,
dusting, washing dishes, vacuuming, cleaning floors, and
maintaining kitchen and bathroom cleanliness, in accordance with
the care plan. Household Shopping: Provide shopping assistance for
household necessities, including foods, cleaning supplies, and
other items as outlined by the authorized care plan. Meal
Preparation: Prepare well-balanced meals following dietary plans
and guidelines specified in the authorized care plan, ensuring
proper nutrition for participants. Personal Care Support: Assist
participants with personal care tasks including, but limited to
shaving, hair shampooing, bathing, assisting in/out of the
shower/tub, dressing, and dental hygiene under specific direction,
maintaining participants' dignity and comfort. Medication
Reminders: Assist with self-administered medication by reminding
participants, reading instructions, and uncapping medication
containers, following prescribed care plans. Accompaniment and
Support: Assist participants by accompanying them to medical
facilities, shopping, errands, and other activities as specified in
the Plan of Care, ensuring their safety and providing supportive
companionship. Observation and Reporting: Monitor participants'
functioning and report any concerns or changes to the Field
Supervisor, ensuring proactive care management. Training and
Development: Attend within program requirements and budget at least
12 hours of in-service training each year to enhance skills and
knowledge in caregiving and participant support. Additional
Responsibilities: Contribute to additional responsibilities as
needed to support In-Home Care participants and initiatives and
overall organizational goals, ensuring flexibility and alignment
with CASL’s evolving needs. Must Haves - To thrive in this role,
you should have: Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED
equivalent At least one year of employment in a comparable human
service capacity, or At least one year of experience in caregiving
for a dependent child or adult family member. Skills & Knowledge:
Knowledge and skills in housekeeping, food preparation, and
personal care. Experience and skills in senior care. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused
approach. Must complete 24 hours of pre-service training and obtain
